CHAMP SHOW JUDGES PROFILES

Dog Judge: Shirley Gray (Bullmaple)

Although I owned my first Staffordshire in 1972, I did not begin showing until 1984 with a bitch by Ch. Maradin Master Mariner. A year later I purchased Squire Joseph Black JW – a son of Ch. Black Tusker and these two became my foundation “Bullmaple” line which from my first two litters produced Stud book winners  Bullmaple Roberta JW and Bullmaple Kester Black.   My fourth generation produced only one puppy Bullmaple Bright Star who gained her title in 2004. Currently I am showing Bright Star’s grand-daughter Seastaff Sirius at Bullmaple.

I have judged two championship shows previously: Bournemouth & Three Counties.

 I previously judged an Open show at the Northern Counties  SBT Club where the hospitality and standard of exhibits was second to none so I  am honoured to be invited – and am much looking forward  to - my appointment at the Championship show.  

Bitch Judge: John Farley (Homafar) 

My affix HOMAFAR was handed down to me by my late father who was in partnership with Arnold Thomas in the early 60’s. I have owned both red and brindle dogs : Tough Diamond, Homafar Controller and Homafar One and Only.

For the past 3 years I have been the chairman of the Potteries Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club and Breed Council Delegate for the past 10 years.

2006 : Awarded CC’s at the Potteries Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club (Bitches)

2008 : Awarded Green Stars Southern Ireland (dogs and Bitches)

2010 : Judged Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Australia (NSW)
